“7 Ekim: Zincirkıran,” is a documentary that bravely explores the impact and transformative power of the October 7 attacks on the first anniversary of the event. The production was realized in less than six days and consists of interviews with journalists, lawyers, academics and even witnesses of the events themselves, as well as sequences specially edited with footage from archive scans. The documentary explores how the power of the idea of resistance has an impact on individual and collective consciousness. Zincirkıran provides a powerful example of the impact of documentary storytelling and succeeds in keeping its finger on the pulse of this high-tension process.
